I don’t claim to be an expert in the politics of the diamond industry. But I do know diamonds – more precisely, I know quality. I also know that the debate surrounding conflict diamonds (or blood diamonds) continues. Many reports claim that, still today, hundreds of millions of dollars in conflict diamonds make their way into the worldwide market every year - with untold human and environmental devastation.
